Ex-CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif launched the Zewar e Taleem Program in 2018 for the deserving girls of Punjab. Under this program, the government of Pakistan will provide a PKR 3000 stipend to each female student quarterly to encourage them to study. Hence, the government of Pakistan wants to increase the percentage of girls’ or women’s education in the region.

A girl’s education is indeed equally important as a boy’s education. That’s why, it is the duty of parents and the government of Pakistan to provide equal opportunities to both (boys and girls) to get better education. Keeping in view this fact, the Ex-CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif launched the Zewar e Taleem Program in 2028 in the 16 districts of Punjab. By the coming PML-N Government, this program again reinstate in all selected districts.

According to a recent survey by the Punjab Social Protection Authority, 16 districts in Punjab have the lowest girl’s literacy rate. It is an alarming situation and keeping in view this low literacy rate the government of Punjab has introduce a female stipend program that is designed for female students only.

What is Zewar e Taleem Program?

According to the Zewar e Taleem Program, the female students of 16 districts of Punjab having 80% attendance will receive 3000 rupees stipend quarterly (after 3 months) to fulfill their education expenses and continue their education. This scholarship will increase the number of female students in the primary, secondary and higher secondary level classes of Punjab region.

Zewar e Taleem Program Registration

Online registration is not possible in the Zewar e Taleem Program. However, female students can easily register for this scholarship program from their school. Yes! Each primary, secondary, and higher secondary school of the selected 16 districts of Punjab will be visited by the registration teams.

Hence, all the eligible (poor and deserving) girls will be register in this program. After that government of Pakistan will provide PKR 3000 quarterly to register female students. Get ready to receive wazifa from the government of Pakistan and start getting free education from government schools.

Quarterly 3000 Stipend Per Female

Each female will receive 3000 rupees (three thousand rupees) from the government of Pakistan through the Taleem Program. This money is for the three months’ education expenses of the female students. Hence, with this program, the number of female students will increase. As a result, this scholarship will increase the female literacy rate in Punjab’s 16 districts where the literacy rate of females was lowest in the past.

As we have mentioned above, the government of Punjab has launched this program after the red alert of the Punjab Social Protection Authority about the low literacy rate of females in 16 districts of Punjab. That’s why, this program has been started in 16 districts of Punjab in the first phase. Here the list of those districts is present below:

Who is Eligible For the Zewar e Taleem Program?

Only girls (female students) of the selected 16 districts of Punjab are eligible for the Zewar e Taleem Program. In addition, the government of Pakistan also has made it compulsory to have 80% attendance of the female student to enroll in this scholarship.

How To Get 3000 From Zewar e Taleem Program?

The Zewar e Taleem Program gives a 3000 rupees stipend to register female students in the account of BISP (Benazir Income Support Program) of their mother. Yes, if your mother is getting the BISP payment then your stipend will be added to the BISP/Ehsaas payment and your mother will get extra aid.

On the other hand, those female students whose mothers are not getting BISP payments will receive the Taleem Program stipend from the Khidmat card. Visit the nearest ATM along with your Khidmat card and get your quarterly scholarship of 3000 rupees.

In case you don’t have a Khidmat card. Then the female student will receive the stipend directly from the school officials in her hand. That’s it, in this way, the female students of classes 6 to 10 will receive scholarship aid from this conditional cash transfer program.
