Internship Climate Resilient Leadership Program
The Punjab Government has officially launched the CM Internship Climate Resilient Leadership Program. This program aims to increase environmental responsibility among the youth and generate new employment opportunities for all young graduates.
As you know Pakistan is on the top list of the world in terms of environmental pollution. Chief Minister Punjab inaugurated Pakistan’s first smog hotline 1373 number and directed that 1 percent of development plan funds be earmarked for tree planting initiatives.
The CM Internship Climate Resilient Leadership Program aims to empower youth to take environmental responsibility. And announced to give them 60 thousand rupees instead of 25 thousand. He also emphasized the need for job security for the interns after the program.
What is Internship Climate Resilient Leadership Program?
The initiative will provide internships for climate change science and graduates youth in Punjab. These internships will help young professionals to apply their knowledge and contribute to tackling the challenges of climate change.
The main objective of the government of Pakistan is to plant trees everywhere in the province of Punjab and get rid of pollution like smog. The Punjab Chief Minister further said that we have asked the educational institutions to focus on pollution awareness in their curriculum from October 15 to November 15. So that children also develop the desire to plant trees.

Efforts To Combat Smog
If we shut down the polluting industries, the pollution in the environment can be reduced to a great extent. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will take legal action against factories and kilns that cause pollution in the environment. He further said that these factories which create pollution and smog in the environment should be removed from populated areas and moved to distant plots.
CM Punjab New Environmental Projects
Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb mentioned the existing environmental projects. Contains detailed climate change mitigation strategies and vehicle control systems. He further said that the smoke emitted from damaged and old vehicles is also a major cause of smog. We have to deal with the challenges by focusing on the new strategy.

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کا انٹرن شپ کلائمیٹ ریسیلینٹ لیڈرشپ پروگرام نوجوانوں میں ماحولیاتی ذمہ داری کو بڑھانا ہے۔ اس تقریب کا بنیادی مقصد پاکستان کو سموگ اور ماحولیاتی آلودگی سے بچنا ہے۔ جو صرف اور صرف درخت لگا کر ہی ممکن بنایا جا سکتا ہے
وزیر اعلی پنجاب کی ھدایت کے مطابق ترقیاتی منصوبے کے فنڈز کا 1 فیصد درخت لگانے کے اقدامات کے لیے مختص کیا جائے۔
وزیر اعلی پنجاب مریم نواز کی طرف سے اس بات پر روز دیا گیا ہے۔ کہ انٹرنز کے اعزازیہ کو 25,000 روپے سے بڑھا کر 60,000 روپے کرنے کا اعلان کیا، پروگرام کے بعد انٹرنز کے لیے ملازمت کے تحفظ کی ضرورت پر زور دیا ہے۔
