Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched the Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme for poor families to get interest-free house loans. Get a loan for the construction of new houses and renovation of your old houses. This scheme has been introduce only for low-income individuals in KPK.
The low-income families of KP can apply for interest-free loans from this scheme and get a 1.5 million rupees loan to construct their houses. Hence this program is a blessing for many poor families. Many families in KPK are worried due to their old house condition. They can also get this interest-free loan to expand or renovate their old house.
According to the spokesperson of the KPK government, this scheme is the result of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that was signed between the housing department and the Bank of Khyber. Hence, soon this scheme is going to launch in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Basically, this housing scheme is a part of Naya Pakistan Housing Program which is spread over 150 kanals area and cost nearly 3,300 million rupees.

Objective Of Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme
Millions of Pakistanis are living on rent and don’t have a place to live. That’s why, this scheme is launch for such poor families so that every Pakistani can buy a house and live tension-free. This scheme was propose in a meeting in which Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, the cabinet members Dr. Amjad Ali Khan, and Muzammil Aslam met with the delegation of Bank of Khyber and agreed to launch this scheme.
According to scheme officials, more than Rs 4 Billion are allotted by the KPK government to provide loans to middle-class families who want to buy their own houses. One who gets the loan will repay it in the next seven years with at least a monthly 18000 rupees installment.
Eligibility Of KP Apna Ghar Scheme
The only eligibility that is crucial for the Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme is to have own land. Yes! Those residents of KP province who own their own land can get this loan to construct a house. You can get a loan and repay it within the next seven years.
- Only residents of KPK can apply
- Applicant must have a Pakistani CNIC card
- Applicant must not have a criminal record
- Only the head of the family can apply for a loan
- Applicant’s poverty (PMT) score must be below 60
- Government employees are not eligible for this scheme
- Those who have taken already a loan are considered ineligible
Those families who earn less than Rs 50,000 monthly will be consider eligible for this scheme. Hence, avail this golden chance and get your name in the first phase of this project. According to the government of KPK, a total of 120 flats will be construct and distribute among poor families. Moreover, 1320 low-cost apartments will distribute.
Registration Required Documents
According to the KPK government following documents are require for registration in the Ehsaas Apna Ghar Program:
- National Identity Card
- Individual Land Fard (Fard-e-Malkiat)
- House Electricity or gas bill
- Bank statement (if have)
- Proof of income (if have)
- Photos of the house (in case of renovation)
- Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
How To Register in Scheme?
All those residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who fulfill the eligibility of the Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme can register for this program easily. Yes! According to CM KPK, the registration has not started yet and soon the Chief Minster will register the poor families in this program so that everyone can get their own house. That’s why, soon an official website will start registering the applicants online for this program. Till today it is not confirm whether the registration will start online or through the physical center.
