Who is Eligible to Receive the Increased 14,500 BISP Payments?
The eligibility process hasn’t changed (although people will need to make sure they meet the following criteria):
- In 8171 BISP Program Women-headed families are prioritized.
- No family member should be a regular government employee.
- And no family member is receiving aid through other government schemes.
- Families with a poverty score of under 30 (using the National Socio-Economic Registry).

Once the increase payments are roll out, eligible beneficiaries can check online status using these 3 given methods:
SMS: Just send your id-card number to 8171 and wait for 2-3 days to receive further instructions.
Online Portal: Go to the BISP Official Web Portal, enter your details, and check your current payment status.
ATM: With BISP, you can check your balance at any HBL, Alfalah, or Bank Alfalah ATM connected to BISP.
