Children’s Heart Surgery Program
For poor heart patient children the CM Punjab has launched the Children’s Heart Surgery Program to provide free medical care to up to 5,000 heart patients annually. There are lots of children who are getting cardiology treatment. All heart patients will get free treatment but according to this program, the children will get priority because they deserve a better future.
Chief Minister Children Heart Surgery Programme is designed to provide free treatment and surgeries to deserving and poor children who are admit to government hospitals. The government is willing to help the poor and deserving parents. Who can’t afford treatment and medical care expenses for their children who are suffering from heart disease.
Maryam Ki Masihaai
Maryam Ki Masihaai is the official name of the CM Punjab Children’s Heart Surgery Program. However, due to its motto all people know it with 2 different names. The government of Punjab will distribute special Child Surgery Cards that will be valid in both government and private hospitals. Hence, getting better treatment is now no more difficult for poor people of Pakistan. Because government is willing to help them with health budget.
Children’s Heart Surgery Program Phase I will start treatment and heart surgeries of children in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi only. However, with the passage of time the government of Pakistan will expand this program to all provinces of Pakistan.

According to CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz, the Children’s Heart Surgery Program or Maryam Ki Masihaai will start working in six government and private hospitals in the selected cities.

5000 Free Treatments Annually
CM Children Heart Surgery Program aims to provide 5000 Free Treatments Yearly to heart patients. These treatments include medical care and surgeries. Hence, this program will be able to save 5000 children’s lives annually.
Child Surgery Cards
Each heart patient children will receive a Child Surgery Card from the respective government hospital where treatment is in progress. That card will be generate after getting the information about the patient, his parents, residential address, and the level of cardiac disease. Whenever the children visit the government or private hospital can show the Child Surgery Card and get free treatment. The government of Pakistan will pay the expenses of heart patient children.
Phase II Launch Date
According to the CM Punjab soon this program will start in Wazirabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, and Sargodha in Phase II. Hence, the major tension of poor parents who are facing the illness of their kids will be solve via this program.

Who is Eligible For the Children’s Heart Surgery Program?
All kids below 18 years of age will be considered eligible for the Children’s Heart Surgery Program. Hence, those parents who are worried about their kid’s heart disease get relief. Because the government is willing to help them by providing free treatment at priority.
How To Register and Get Child Surgery Card?
Registration has been started in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi. Hence, visit the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Children’s Hospital, or Institute of Cardiology and register for Maryam Ki Masihaai Program. After registration is complete you will get a Child Surgery Card. This card will work in the selected government and private hospitals. And give you all facilities related to heart disease treatment free of cost.
